Cornerstone Bible Church will resume Sunday morning and Wednesday evening worship services beginning May 20th.
Please remember to follow any mandated practices from the governing authorities as we worship the Lord together!
The Board of Elders has decided to resume Wednesday evening and Sunday morning worship services beginning May 20th. Our decision is based on the following points:
1. Religious institutions are not restricted from gathering, so we may continue services if we feel the time is right
2. The church needs to be fed the Word, spend time in fellowship, pray together, sing together, and worship as a corporate body (Acts 2:42)
3. We, as believers, must not live in fear but trust the Lord, exercising both faith and wisdom
We ask that you continue to follow any mandated requirements that the governing authorities have put in place as we gather to worship together.
We are hosting another drive-in service this Sunday at 9:30am. Our passage for this week is
1 Peter 3:13-17. Come join us as we worship the Lord together!
The Board of Elders has also begun planning a time-frame for resuming regular worship services. Further information regarding this decision will posted in a few days!
Saturday offering drop-off has been discontinued due to the regular gatherings for drive-in services. However, you may also give using the "Giving" tab at the top of our webpage or by mailing it to our church address.
Cornerstone Bible Church will be hosting another drive-in service this Sunday, May 10th at 9:30am. Because it will be Mother's Day, Pastor Matthew is going to preach a special message on Song of Solomon which focuses on "the purity of marital love and affection." Come join us as we worship our great God and King this Sunday morning!
Just a reminder the church will be open tomorrow (Saturday May 2nd) for offering drop off between 8:00am and noon.
Also, we currently are scheduled to have a drive-in service this Sunday (May 3rd). We are keeping a close eye on the weather so please check back here for updates as we draw closer to our time of worship.
Please note that the service will begin at 9:30am so we ask that you arrive between 9:00-9:25am. Everyone will remain in their vehicles for the duration of the service which will end promptly at 10:15am. If you have any questions please contact us here at the church (717-308-7145).
Lord willing, we will see you all on Sunday.
Due to the rain we have no choice but to cancel our drive-in-service.
However, please note that Pastor Matthew will still be preaching on The Lord's Prayer
Part 1 of this message will be posted today and part 2 will be posted on Wednesday.
Please be sure to take advantage of these wonderful resources!
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope" (Romans 15:13).
-The church is planing on hosting another drive in service on April 26th at 9:30am. Further information will be given next week as we finalize the details.

In the event that we are not able to gather for Easter Sunday, the Elders have decided to hold a "Drive-In Worship Service." We believe that everyone would still remain safe if they stayed in their vehicles while the pastor gave his message outside. More details will follow but please keep this in prayer as we are seeking to have everything organized for the 12th!
Governor Wolf has issued a "stay-at-home" order for York County that remains in effect until April 6th. Religious institutions are exempt from this order, however, there are also several cases of COVID-19 in York County. The Elder Board is meeting on March 29th to discuss how to move forward in the weeks to come and how we can better minister to you. Blessings!
Online devotionals will be posted to the web page every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday. Please use these resources throughout the week as a way of staying connected and growing spiritually.
All services have been cancelled tentatively until March 31st.
How to Give
For those who are able, I want to encourage you to continue to give faithfully to the Lord. While services may be canceled, unfortunately, the bills and ministry cost for the church still remain. With that being said, there are three primary ways you can give during this time:
1) Call the church office and set up a time to drop off your offering
2) Mail in your offering: 3500 Cardinal Lane, Dover, PA 17408
3) Use the “Giving” tab on our web-page to give electronically
